Thanks to my public school education I was privileged to help kindergartners read when I was in 3rd grade.
Thanks to my Scout Masters I had leadership thrust upon me at 14 as a Senior Patrol leader.
Thanks to Mrs. Johnson, I didn't stop when I struggled in Algebra, but moved onto Calculus where "the rules would finally make sense." They did.
My life is a string of educators helping me become like them. For 6 years I have been professionally paying it forward as a teacher and software engineer. The inner city, the country, and the boardroom have all shown me the need for engaging instructional material, so I am honing my craft as an Instructional Designer to equip us for the future.
Let's make something memorable. Let's change us for the better.
